The Story Behind the Salon
The Last Resort started over ten years ago when we decided to break from our corporate lives, and put our meager resources into a tiny hole in the wall in Soquel Village, and opened our first storefront business. The name "The Last Resort" was appropriate on many levels. It was all the money we had at that time. Now we enjoy a loyal following because we provide a great service in a casually elegant environment, at prices people can afford.
'The Last Resort' is the title of an Eagles song about California
One day, we hope to have a California spa at the end of a driveway lined by palm trees, a place of serenity and beauty, of plants, stone and water, a place you can escape to as your 'last resort' before stresses of daily life overwhelm you.
We do not have that yet, but the dream is alive!
That spirit is present in our business philosophy and the environment we have tried to create in the Salon and Spa area.
We are eternally grateful to our wonderful and growing band of faithful customers, who have supported our business over these last ten plus years.
